FAQ

I use two simple, browser-based tools side-by-side. You don’t need to download any apps, pay for software, or even create an account—you just click the secure links I send you!

  • Google Meet: This is our virtual classroom where we see each other and sign/talk. It also includes an excellent auto-captioning feature if you ever need extra clarity while speaking.
  • Whiteboard.fi: This is our digital notepad. It's a live, interactive whiteboard where both of us can draw, type formulas, and upload images or math problems to solve together in real time.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. You can reschedule a session once per week, provided it takes place within the same program week and fits current availability. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as no-shows, will be charged in full, and arriving late will not extend your scheduled session time. If an unexpected illness or emergency comes up, please notify me as soon as possible; I offer one emergency waiver per tutoring package at my discretion to accommodate life's unpredictable moments.

I am deeply committed to reliability and will only cancel a session when absolutely necessary due to illness or an emergency. If I ever need to cancel or reschedule, I will notify you as soon as possible and we will reschedule the session at no additional cost to you. In the event that we cannot find a mutually agreeable time to reschedule within that same program week, the session will be credited directly back to you.

I love when students take initiative! You are welcome to email or message me your questions during the week. I will get back to you within 48 hours with a hint or a brief explanation. If a question requires a deep dive, we will map out a full solution together during our next scheduled session.

To maintain a consistent, dedicated schedule for all my students, I don’t book standalone, one-off sessions. If you need extra support after one package is complete, you can simply renew your current package or book a new one.

Yes, absolutely! I welcome students from the US. All prices listed on this website are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

When you check out via Stripe using a US credit card, the transaction will automatically process and convert to US Dollars (USD). Your bank or credit card company will handle the currency exchange based on the current daily rate, and they may charge a small international transaction fee (typically around 1% to 2%).

I tutor students from Grade 6 to University. My main areas of expertise are Math and English (reading/writing). However, if you need help with Science, Social Studies, or another subject, please reach out—I'm always happy to see if we're a good fit!

Please Note: While I am fluent in ASL, and can teach through ASL, I am not Deaf and do not teach ASL as a subject.

Nope! All practice problems, digital worksheets, and learning materials are fully included in your package fee.

All sessions are 40 minutes long. To make the most of our time, every session follows this structure: a quick review of past concepts, learning and practicing new material, and a final wrap-up to practice new skills independently.

We typically meet once a week. However, if you book the Course Acceleration package, we meet twice a week to fast-track your progress!

The rates depend on the package you choose (see Tutoring Packages above). Here is the process:

  1. Book Free 15-Minute Meeting: We identify learning goals and confirm a meeting date/time.
  2. Payment & Tutoring Agreement: I send you a secure payment link. As part of payment, you will need to agree to the Tutoring Agreement (see link at bottom of this page). Full payment is requiredåbefore our first meeting.
  3. Payment Methods: I accept all major credit card through Stripe (Canadian and US customers) or e-transfer (Canadian customers).
